We were asked by our client’s Diversity and Inclusion department to improve gender balance as a lever for competitive advantage. We designed a gender balance workshop which was attended by all leadership team members and their direct reports. Further to this, we developed an action plan that aimed to create a more representative leadership team for the following year.
As part of this wider initiative, we successfully delivered a campaign to communicate the benefits of ‘agile’ working. This was a global, multi-divisional campaign. Messages had to be tailored for multiple functions and regions, each with their own cultural and communication requirements. A key part of the campaign tackled the myths and perceptions that many in the workforce held about agile working. This change of focus ensured people became aware of the positive impact flexible working hours can have on productivity, budget and morale.
