Texas Children's Hospital (TCH) engaged The Fifth Business to help with the launch of their new electronic medical records system known as 'Epic'.
In an effort to provide better experiences for patients and families, better access and collaboration, and better support for research and new discoveries, TCH asked The Fifth Business to develop a comprehensive communications plan focused on the implementation of the new system. We developed a communications strategy and created the key messaging for the campaign.
One of the key deliverables during the rollout was the production of four videos promoting the Epic implementation. The videos incorporated staff from all levels, including senior managers to front line medical personnel, explaining how the new electronic medical records system is affecting their areas within the hospital.
