Fifth Business on the presentation circuit CEO Enda Logan delivered a presentation on best practice communications to an audience of professional communicators at the Melcrum Strategic Communications Management event, which took place in London at the beginning of October. The previous month Marketing Manager, Colin Ross, presented on e-learning development at Total Connection 2007, the user conference for Sum Total Systems in Dallas. Mr Logan's presentation was entitled "Two ears and one mouth - listening as a key communication discipline." The presentation detailed Fifth Business case studies in BP and GlaxoSmithKline and focused on the importance of listening as a communication discipline, and its role in ensuring that communication delivers real business results. Meanwhile, Mr Ross shared some best practice e-learning development from The Fifth Business' work with Marathon and Shell in a presentation entitled "Designing engaging learning content - a vital part in the creation of a blended learning culture." This conference further strengthened our relationship as a content development partner with Sum Total Systems. Enda Logan said "We are doing some great work which we believe not only resonates with our clients but also has a significant contribution to make across the communications and learning industries, you can expect to see these types of events being key activities on The Fifth Business calendar."
