We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced and talented designer to join our London team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the highest quality design solutions with creative flair to meet our client objectives.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

1. Developing engaging, rich and innovative user-centred design solutions
2. Designing graphical interfaces and print deliverables which are visually engaging and meet client objectives.
3. Developing high quality, bespoke online e-learning materials
4. Interfacing directly with clients as required by individual project scope
5. Planning timeframes for individual projects, identifying critical deadlines and establishing priorities and milestones
6. Working in project teams with design and/or IT colleagues on larger projects
7. Liaising with colleagues to ensure all quality assurance standards are met throughout the project, proofing own work for spelling and grammatical correctness

This role will be based in London but the successful candidate may be required to travel to, or work at, the client's site.

Candidate Requirements:

Essential

• Significant industry experience relevant to the above responsibilities
• Demonstrable experience delivering effective design solutions for corporate clients
• Proven experience of managing own time effectively and working to deadlines
• Experience of developing and managing a creative team
• Relevant degree level qualification or equivalent work experience
• Excellent hands on knowledge of Adobe Flash
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash)
• Strong online portfolio of digital and print design for commercial industry clients
• Experience of creating and presenting proposed solutions in client meetings at the sales stage

The Fifth Business is a global specialist provider of internal corporate communications, digital media design and e-learning solutions. We have outstanding opportunities for communications professionals to provide consultancy services to our international client base.

Job responsibilities include:

• Working with the client to identify stakeholders and develop communications plans to meet project requirements
• Evaluating and recommending appropriate communications media and channel options for the client
• Developing and delivering communication activities as required by the client/project, for example, presentations, surveys, conferences, websites, videos, events
• Writing, editing and proofing communication materials
• Facilitating communications within the project
• Working with design/IT colleagues on creative/technical elements of projects
• Designing and implementing appropriate evaluation strategies for projects

The successful candidate will also be expected to work at the client's site and travel on the client's behalf when appropriate.

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will hold at least a bachelors degree and have experience planning and delivering effective internal corporate communications solutions and projects within defined resources and timeframes. The ability to be highly organised and to work to tight deadlines while maintaining quality is essential. Candidates should demonstrate creativity and innovation combined with first class writing and presentation skills. Strong commercial focus and project management skills are also important for this role. This role would be particularly suited to those interested in the wider spectrum around communications, incorporating engagement, change management and effectiveness measurement.
