The Fifth Business supported our client’s HSE team to develop an experiential training programme for the 2,500-strong workforce, which tested their safety conversation skills in realistic and challenging scenarios with actors. We were then tasked with replicating this experience in an e-learning environment.
The solution allowed users to test their understanding of positive conversation skills and provided them with a realistic experience. The intention of the e-learning environment was to evoke real-life feelings when negotiating an awkward and challenging safety conversation, both at work and home.
The learning tool features a robust interactive evaluation section. The course sources feedback on users' understanding of key learning criteria, requesting an understanding mark from 1-5 (1 = poor and 5 = excellent).
This e-learning was the winner of Most innovative use of media award in the Institute of Internal Communication (IoIC) Awards.
